John Bowen Has Passed Away
It is with a heavy heart I must inform you that John
Bowen passed away. John’s family notified NJWO
earlier this week. There was a memorial service for John on Saturday, March 15,
2003.
As most of you know, John was the editor of The Weather Shelter
for many years. Anyone who has done this task knows that time and dedication is
a must. John was also an avid computer enthusiast. He presented NJWO’s first
computers and weather presentations over 10 years ago.
NJWO had a special dinner honoring
John in 1999. Photos from the dinner can be

Surviving John are his three sons and wife Jean.
